Prepration

  • I take a couple of young zucchini, cut off all the excess and cut it into rings.
  • I also cut tomatoes into circles.
  • And mozzarella or suluguni cheese (or other easily melting cheese).

  • I salt the zucchini a little.
  • And I leave it for 10 minutes so that the zucchini is well salted and is salty enough in the finished dish.
  • I put the minced meat in a bowl (I have pork and chicken).
  • I add rice cooked until half cooked.
  • Chopped onion.
  • Chopped greens with garlic.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • And for even more taste and aroma, I add a generous pinch of Provençal herbs and sweet paprika.
  • Mix the minced meat with rice and spices well.
  • I begin to assemble the dish.
  • I take a form with high sides.
  • I assemble this accordion and put it in the mold.
  • I take a circle of zucchini, a circle of tomato, a slice of cheese and a minced meat cutlet.
  • Look how beautiful it turned out! This is such a vegetable traffic light!
  • And in order to make the dish even more juicy, I will make a filling.
  • I mix 150 g of sour cream.
  • A pinch of salt and pepper.
  • A little paprika.
  • I dilute the sauce with water to the desired thickness. I don't add much water.
  • I stir.
  • I fill the zucchini with the resulting filling.
  • I preheat the oven to 180ºC and bake for 1-1.5 hours until the zucchini is soft enough.
  • Just look how beautiful it turned out! And the aroma is simply divine, spreading throughout the house! Can't wait to try it!
  • I'll try to convey its taste. Just imagine - slightly elastic zucchini rings with juicy ripe tomatoes, aromatic minced meat and Suluguni cheese! And all this in a delicate sour cream sauce. Simply fantastic!
