  • Cooking steps

    1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

    2

Take a ceramic mold, line it with parchment and lightly grease it with butter. If you want a traditional round cake, use a round springform pan.

    3

Break the chocolate into pieces, pour into a heatproof bowl, add butter and place in a steam bath. Keep in a steam bath and stir with a spatula until the chocolate dissolves and the mass becomes homogeneous. Let the mixture cool.

    4

Beat the eggs into a large container, add a pinch of salt and beat with a mixer, gradually adding sugar for 5-8 minutes until the egg mixture turns white and thickens well.

    5

Add half the melted chocolate to the beaten eggs and gently stir until combined. Stirring constantly, add the rest of the chocolate in small portions.

    6

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, place in the preheated oven and bake for 35-45 minutes until the top of the cake is shiny and a toothpick comes out almost free of crumbs.

    7

Let the cake cool. Sprinkle with cocoa powder.
